Reflux in breastfed baby

My baby is 2 weeks old and has started to show symptoms of reflux. He can be very unsettled (especially at night) and it takes a long time to burp him. He is coughing often and sometimes seems like he is choking. As a FTM, it's all very scary. Just wondering if any breastfeeding mum's have any tips to help with this?

Heya try feeding bubba upright, I use my baby carrier to keep my baby upright during feeds and it really helped. X

Make sure you are pace feeding baby and don’t be scared to really pat him when burping. If you are breastfeeding put a pillow or rolled up blanket under his upper body so his head and chest is higher than the rest of his body. Check for tongue ties and let your pediatrician know. Don’t be scared to Advocate for your son.

Are there any particular breastfeeding positions that are better for this

Yes if you are breastfeeding obviously you can’t pace feed I meant more if you ever bottle fed. You can try using a nipple shield to slow down the baby gulping so much in at one time. Your letdown could be fast causing baby to suck down some air causing reflux
