Toddler nursing, I need help or guidance

I am feeling very overwhelmed, and I am trying so hard to stop nursing my almost 2 year old. She refuses to sleep in her own room for more than an hour or two at most. Wakes and wants to nurse and climb into our bed. She has total meltdowns when she doesn't get to nurse, I mean, she screams cries kicks. We live in apartments, so I can't let her just scream. Our neighbors get pissed but she will also scream so hard she forces herself to puke. I am so frustrated we almost finished completely maybe one nightly nurse until maybe 4 nights ago she suddenly started cluster feeding and having become super fussy, and I am struggling to know what to do. She will not sleep for me until I nurse, and if my husband tries to get her to sleep, she screams bloody murder.

You may just have to take a weekend and let her cry. Start reducing her feedings, one by one . Then move on to another feeding and reduce that . Yes she will cry, and yes she will get over it .

We weaned in August when away on a family vacation. Being somewhere new with no associations and family around for distractions worked like a charm! She asked for the boob a few times when we got home, but was perfectly fine taking her milk in a straw cup
