I'm glad I'm not alone! Lol. I always think things like that when I read those posts. My brother and sister in law use snapchat to share pics and videos of our nephew, so my husband and I recently started using it and kept laughing and calling each other old while we were trying to figure it out . 😅 And I guess it's kind of weird that's I'd rather just meet someone in person than video chat? That's just anxiety inducing for me. 😭
I'm also 34 and can confirm, I am exactly the same 😂 I don't mind WhatsApp or Messenger but never used Snap and to hell if you think your going to get me on a video call. I don't answer normal calls let alone video! I'm the person at the party who sits in the corner with the dog, sipping a beer and thumbing through the hosts film/book collection lol
I'm 31 and feel the same way! If there wasn't online food ordering we would never get carryout 😂

Its probably some generational, some personality. Im 37 and can understand both sides of it. I tend to prefer ways of communicating that isn’t talking on the phone so group chats are my thing. You have to keep in mind that when us millennials were kids- being connected in these ways wasn’t a thing so it’s something we either choose to adapt and do or don’t. But no shade either way!
I feel that way but that’s cuz I’m autistic not antisocial… like group projects in school are the absolute worst! lol
I grew tired of the group chats after the women in there decided to form cliques and have arguments over silly thing. Most of them were younger than me. I’d sit back and watch it unfold lol. If they weren’t like this I’d be in them more. I’d rather not have the drama and enjoy the little peace I have 😎

@Sydney my 16 year old uses snapchat. He got his first smart phone last year and got me to install it so we could snap but it was awful haha. I ended up deleting it.

@Aryyy I don't think I'd mind as much if it's people I want to spend time with and talk to. But on here people are just asking strangers basically. Or I get stuff for my kids activities and it's just never endinggggg

Haha I’m 33 and feel sorta the same way. I do have an iPhone and use Snapchat seldomly. But a group chat with strangers sounds horrible to me. I have group chats with friends but random people that don’t know me or my tone of voice? Pass. You’re not alone. And I would consider myself social and an extrovert. Just with the right people lol.
