haha this is my boy too 🤣🤣 6.8kg, 65cm and everyone says he looks like 4 months old but hes a thick thighed baby and is eating solds now too. He was 6.4lbs when born x
My son was born at 3.6kg just a day before my due date but a lot of people say he’s tiny too. I hate it with all my heart. He’s about 7.5 kg now and he’ll be 6 months on 28th November
Well maybe you have a tiny baby but nothing wrong with it. I have a big baby, 9kg and 72cm. She’s occasionally over the scale for her age with length 😂
Her weight sounds fine to me. Mine is the same age and weighs about 7.8kg.
My girl is 6 months & weighs 6.4kg & doctor is happy. My friends 3 month old weighs the same as her so I was also worried but doctors said it’s super normal & some babies are just smaller :)
Doesn't matter if she's tiny as long as she's following her own growth line (the chart in the back of your red book or on the NHS website) https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/uk-who-growth-charts-0-4-years
That sounds like a healthy weight, all babies are different 😊 My girl was born on 7th May and was 8.2kg when weighed on Friday, she was 3.5kg when she was born.
I dont think she is tiny at all. My LG is 6.5 months, and she is only 6.4kg. She has slightly dropped on her centile, but HV and GP are happy. She is also crawling around all the time, so she must be burning all her calories!
Put the weight into a online calculator and it will tell you the centile they are on, my baby is 7.14kg and will be six months next week so currently 48 centile
I've found people will make comments regardless of your child's weight. My daughter is in the 50th Percentile and my HV confirmed she's a perfect weight for her height. She's sturdy and has a round face and is often called Bonny or Chubby cheeks by strangers. My grandmother-in-law called her a lump a few weeks ago and I just rolled my eyes at her 🙄😂
My little one is just over 6 months and is 9kg but she was born at 4.3kg so she's just always been bigger x
Mine were premiers and are just 6months today one is 7.5 kg the other 7.3kg and I’d say they’re average size babies eat well and started weaning. Every baby is different as long as they’re content and their usual self wouldn’t worry what others say. My first baby was 8.5kg at 6 months but he was a huge baby at birth too at 42weeks gestation so it all differs.
Baby boy 6 months he's 8.7kg was born full term at 3.2kg. x
@Alina yeah mine also is super duper active.. she is crawling, standing and walking with support and always busy doing stuff.. so may be yeah.. they are burning calories lol

Some babies are big and some small and that’s okay! My boy is 6 months today and is a 70cm, 9kg giant! People comment on how big he is too, it’s just rude. No one should say anything 😊
Wish people would stop comparing as weight is variable from child to child there is alot of factors that play apart in what they weigh for example their birth weight and if they were born early and how early or if they were born late and how late or on time for starters my little on is not been that chubby but she is long so that might make her appear smaller then she is and that weight doesnt sound to bad to me as long as your baby is putting on weight steadily and is eating well then it should be fine but if your really worried then speak to your health visitor or a predatrication.
