Pramsuit or snowsuit?

I’ve just realised there is a difference between! For a feb baby, would they need a fluffy pramsuit or a waterproof snowsuit? Or, the quilted/wadded type? Bit unsure if a fluffy pramsuit (the one’s that look like teddybear material) are going to be too thin? Thanks!

We got a teddy bear suit from m&s and that’s very thick and a 2.5 tog pram suit from Sainsbury’s. Going off how the weather is usually where we live in February the teddy bear suit will be good in a baby carrier and the 2.5 tog will be used in the pram as it’s a lot thinner x

I’d go for a soft one - you won’t need a waterproof one until they’re walking really. I’d just get something warm and soft - for the first couple of months I tended to tuck them into the pram with a blanket (and obviously cover up the pram if raining)

With our last baby he didn’t really wear any of the waterproof stuff in the winter. He was always in the pram under the waterproof cover if it was raining so priority is warmth I think x

I’ve bought a teddy bear zip up fluffy one in up to 1 month, a thick one from m&s (white with bear on the front) in 0-3 and a waterproof one in 3-6 months to wear in the baby carrier x

Fluffy, as they'll be in the pram with a waterproof cover, or baby wearing under your coat, so don't need their own waterproof

Thanks all!!

i never used a waterproof one till my son could walk to keep him dry when he was out of the pram and because he hated the rain cover on, i wouldnt put them in one unless you need to as i find they arent warm x
