Mat b1 form

You have to ask your midwife and they'll sign it with the info needed. They can only give it to you once you're 20 weeks.

Usually your employer needs the MatB1 by your 25th week of pregnancy. I also had to get another form signed by my manager and then sent to the relevant department stating when I would be taking my mat leave from. They need it by 25 weeks in order to ensure you're paid on time (that's what my work policy says but yours might be different). So you'll want to ring your midwife ASAP to get the form if you're already 25w 3 days!

I asked for mine as I wouldn’t have got it until my 26 week appointment otherwise and my job needed it at lest 15 weeks before due day x

I was given mine at my 24 week midwife appointment

I had to ask for mine after my 20w scan. Nobody mentioned it to me and I almost left the hospital without it, but needed it for work! So went back and a random midwife did it for me! Took a couple of mins

My employers have been the same , Ive just turned 24 weeks and don’t see my midwife until the next of next week and I don’t have a contact number to chase it sooner so worried it’s going to be too late to give to my employer! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I got mine at my 22 week midwife appointment, I would probably just call your midwife up and ask for it!

Like everyone else I had to ask for mine too . It’s so silly they don’t just have one ready at your 20week scan . I just called the community midwife and they gave me a time to go and collect it . Had to chase it a few times because it wasn’t ready the first time

If you ring the midwife community number they will send you it out in the post x

I don’t see why not, I got my proof of pregnancy letter for the council sent out in the post! X

I was told I had to collect it in person 😂
