Def not while they’re still putting their hands in their mouth

Like…a baby baby. Or a child we call baby. My son is 7 and I call him baby. If he really wanted a nail painted…sure. Why not. But would I paint an actual babies nails (2 and under in my opinion)…..probably not. Just because of the crap in nail polish. Heck, I wouldn’t even paint a 5 years old nails. But again, that’s me. I don’t know how yall run your homes.

I know there are brands you can buy that use natural dyes and stuff like that but, I have to agree with the comments above, she(?) is still putting her hands in her mouth and could chip off and digest it. But up to you honestly up to you as her mom

I did my daughters at like 8 months because she wasn’t a foot chewer. I also did our newest little one’s toes before she realised she had toes. My oldest is obsessed with piggy paint and wanted to match sister lol

How are you painting a baby’s nails? I can’t even trim mine’s?!😆

No It’s not necessary for me I don’t even paint my own

Not that young. I would wait until they’re 2 cause they don’t suck on their nails around that age

Sorry answer was supposed to be no. I’d only do it if child requests and when they are not putting their fingers in their mouth

My toddler has started to request her nails to be painted but she’s almost 3!

My daughter is 10 months old, and I feel like that would end in disaster for us 😭 if you do, just make sure you get the safe-to-ingest kiddie nail polish. Also know she's probably gonna squirm and it won't look the best. It would be more for you than for her at this age. I look forward to painting my daughter's nails when she's older. One of my favorite memories was painting my nails with my mom when I was little and sick home from school.

10m is way too young, nail polish are quite toxic and also the nail polish remover after, she doesn't need that. Have a cute outfit for Thanksgiving that's it

No, she will nibble on it and get that stuff in her mouth. Absolute no-go for me

This is incredibly dangerous. There is no reason to paint the nails of a baby. Toes or fingers. The chemicals in the polish and nail polish remover are not safe for little ones. Please be sensible and put your child’s safety first.

I started painting my step daughter’s nails when she was about 2. I think 10 Months is personally too young, especially if she’s putting her fingers in her mouth.

I feel like I started doing it every once in a while around 18-24 months ?

I paint my daughter’s nails, she’s 3.

My daughter is almost 4 and I paint her nails for her regularly if she asks. I wouldn’t of done it younger than 2 though

Try piggy paint and maybe baby's toes if they still stick hands in mouth
