Is it normal

Me n my partner haven't had sex from last 4 months. We have a little one 17 months old. I am stay at home mom and he works 6 days a week. I actually didn't bother about our intimacy until recently when I realised it's been so long. He didn't show any interest. I tried to communicate and ask for it but still didn't get nice response. I was wondering if he could b having an affair and fulfilling his needs outside!!!! My mind saying yes he might having affair but my heart not able to accept it. What u think?

I clicked by accident as I scrolled past but just wanted to say unless there are other indicators, I wouldn’t jump to thinking he’s having an affair.

I don’t think you should jump to that conclusion here. Things change after having a baby. My marriage has gone to shit after I had a baby, and being physical is the last thing on my mind. Not saying it’s the norm, but he could be going through something, stress/depression/exhaustion or something else. But you can only find out if he is willing to talk about it.

@Simi yeah u r right after baby it takes a lot to adjust with lot of things. But I tried to communicate with him but he doesn't seem interested. That makes me more upset

Yeah it’s probably due to some insecurity that he doesn’t feel comfortable talking to you. Could be due to a strain in your relationship at the moment or something else. Not saying this is normal but it is common after having a baby. Give it sometime, but do keep your eyes and ears open to anything sus.

There is other factors he could be tired from working, he could be stressed. However when I’ve found my partner not being bothered with sex I’ve always found something on his phone from messaging other females sending pics etc to porn x

Get naked and surprise him

There may not be cheating going on, but something is obviously going on. I remember once, my partner just instead of having sex with me he had a "d.i.y" addiction and just fulfilling his needs on his own. No foul play, he just got into this weird place. For some people, sex isn't a big thing but I think sex and intimacy is massive in a relationship.

I’m not sure to be honest, but sex drive isn’t a gauge that constantly needs to be drained with sex. Your partner may be masturbating instead, or just not want to have sex. Men’s sex drives vary too and can change! Have a good, open conversation with him and I’m sure you’ll feel better x
