**I think it’s actually rare to fall out of love with the one who isn’t right for you. Just because you love them doesn’t mean they are right for you.
This was with my ex, I realised when I kept putting up with a kiddish guy when during a break (for any big arguments the guy couldn’t face it and would resort to disappearing for the reappear after months and say I miss you) I got to talk with another guy to vent about my ex and realised that there are more mature people out there. When my ex came back after 6 months of ‘break’ where he probs spoke to hundreds of girls, he found a changed version of me not being the old doormat. After that I only looked for guys with a different criteria and married my now husband who’s a person that faces arguments and doesn’t run away
I think it’s in the process of happening right now…
Constant financial/emotional/mental abuse, lies, cheating, chatting with other women, gaslighting and just overall shitty behaviour - slowly lost respect and fell out of love. Tried so hard to make it work, suggested many many things to try for us but the final straw was when he hit me. Pregnant.
