Hi ladies, I am wondering what everyone are setting the baby room temperature to? I set it to 23 degrees day and night and it’s getting expensive, can I know any tips and tricks to save? I heard were can use tog during the night and set the temperate below 20 degrees, but have got none for the day, please let me know how you all are doing it for the day and night and how do you dress baby for it.

I’ve read that 68F/20C is a good temp for baby! I personally keep the room a bit closer to 70F/21C but it’s better to err on the side of cold. Cold babies will cry, hot babies can overheat and worse in their sleep.
All day my LO is in a long sleeve/footed onesie and I swaddle her in a thin blanket at night, nothing more. Sometimes I use a halo sleep sack, I think it’s 1.5tog (but can’t say for certain as it was a gift and I’ve thrown away the packaging).

Our room is usually 17-18 degrees at night. Use a vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog love to dream

Our room naturally sits at 23 degrees and even in a long sleeved vest, jammies and a 2.5 tog sleep sack he’s still chilly 😭 he is a rare case though I think! x

Our kiddos room is usually between 18-22°c, and he just sleeps in jammies. Woke up to his room being 17°c this morning tho, and he was a little chilly, but we're planning on reorganizing his room this week and his bed will be closer to the vent so it'll be a bit warmer

23 is pretty warm. Ideal sleeping temp is 16-20 degrees.

During the day our house naturally sits about 19 degrees at the moment. He's in long sleeve vest, t shirt and jumper, leggings and socks. If I put him down to sleep I put a blanket on lower half. At night he's in sleep suit and 2.5 tog bag

Our whole house is kept around 68F/20C and bedrooms are closer to 65F/18C. Even for newborns, just sleep in long onesies/swaddles/sleep sacs. They can't regulate their temp and can overheat so quickly without you realizing
