Has anyone done the transition from cot bed to toddler bed , if so how did it go and can you give any tips please, planing on changing my boy to a toddler bed due to it getting hard to put him in and take him out due to being pregnant,

Posting annominous as we still haven’t told family members were expecting , planing on doing it next week after the gender scan x

We did a couple of weeks ago, we did it to try get our little boy out of our bed and sleeping back in his own. We live in a one bedroom flat so he he’s still in our room. He will go to sleep with me sitting beside him in his own bed but he wakes during the night and climbs into our bed with us
