Stomach small and want to induce
Hi
I’m 36+5 and had a scan today and they told me the babies stomach was too small and the Doppler only at 14%. They want to induce me next week. I’m so nervous this is my first baby and I was hoping for all natural birth so this has really derailed my ideal plan and I feel so disappointed and sad.
Any advice or people who have experienced similar ? Thanks x
I had an induction at 37 weeks, they told me she was measuring small, they thought she’d be 4lbs something but she ended up being 5lbs 15oz. I was so scared as it was my first baby, it’s such a daunting thing but I had such an amazing birth and experience. I heard so many horror stories and was so scared but honestly I loved every second. I ended up getting an epidural after they broke my waters so my birth was quite calm and I didn’t feel much. The only downside to being induced is it’s basically a waiting game. I was in the hospital 3 days before she came and felt really fed up but once she was in my arms it was all worth it. If you want to chat I’m more then happy too, just drop me a message 🥰🥰 x
