Baby pushing tongue out
Does anyone know why my 7 week old has started to push her tongue out a lot and been pushing it into her bottom lip

I said it was cause my son figured out he had a tongue
yeah mine has started too! i assumed it was just then discovering their tongue 🤣
It’s a reflexive thing they do. It’s part of their heightened gag reflex and they also stick their tongue out a bit to breastfeed so it’s just normal baby stuff. They get more control over it around 6 months
It could just be exploration and curiosity
We call our baby our little snake coz she does it all the time 😂 🐍
My baby was 6 weeks yesterday, he has started doing this too!!
