I had this feeling a few weeks back, really struggled. Only thing that helped me was just to think I have a lot of weeks left there will be further information given to me by my midwife as I go along, I have time to research and book onto some classes. I also try now to not think too far ahead and just into the next week as if I do I start to feel overwhelmed again. You've got this, and you are not alone ā¤ļø

i find it hard to stay in the moment because then i panic that i havenāt bought anything. I think i just need more support and guidanceš

Iām 24 weeks too, havenāt really bought anything yet just some reusable nappies and breast pads! I got a list from a friend though and just have one Google document where Iām making notes whenever I think of something (either to buy, pack in hospital bag, or do to prepare for birth/baby) and then slowly trying to check things off the list. I have also been asking friends who are mums what they recommend/what they bought they wished they hadnāt to get a sense of what I really need. I think thereās so much marketing out there but we just need the basics and no need to go overboard because you can always get more stuff as you learn what you baby likes. Hope that helps, also we have plenty of time still!

What you need to work on is your confidence,
not your materials that you still need to buy.
You should look at you and your baby in the mirror everyday and tell yourselves that you will be fine, whilst holding your belly. Youre gonna do this together, you are strong! The way I know this is because you have already done 24 weeks of mental preparation for the new love that will appear.
You will get to know each other the best out of anyone in this world.
Nowadays there is a lot of information, I have told myself not to look online anymore at stuff about babies. Once the baby is here, we will figure out what they need like women have done for milennia :-).
I would take a step away from the online world, and strip down do the basics, you and your new family.
We can do this xx

youāre so right! Thank youš
