How to nap without breastfeeding

Honestly I'm stuck and I really need to stop or figure something out as there's an upcoming event where I wouldn't most likely wouldn't be with her for 24 hours or more and I'm so stressed on what to do
My son won't go to sleep for me without boob. He will however go to sleep for my husband with just cuddles if I'm not there. Have you tried anyone else putting them to sleep yet? I was hoping to stop at 12mo but it didn't happen, we're going to try again next time my husband gets some time off work and I'm just going to go for a walk alone every sleep time and hope after a few days my milk dries up and he gets used to not having it x
Oo, I've never actually tried that, me my husband and daughter go sleep every night together so me and my husband are both in bed with her all the time during her sleeping time but she still always breastfeeds from me even if her dad is there. Maybe I should try let him take her to bed one night without me being in the room
Go out to the shops or go for a long bath, if my son knows I'm home and 'available' he just shouts mummy and runs away from my husband😂 but if he doesn't know I'm there he's fine. I sneak away to the bath while my husband is playing with him usually and he's asleep within around 10mins of cuddles no crying at all. My husband does all night wakes when he's home now too cause he's back to sleep in 5/10 mins whereas if I get up he'll spend at least 20mins on boob and still struggle to resettle x
I'm in the same boat. My LO won't sleep unless breastfed. That's why I keep breastfeeding her. Really don't know how to stop it and make her sleep alone. Sometimes I think I just have to stop it even if it will be very hard for me and for her. Didn't do anything at the moment and don't know if there are better options.
