When did everyone stop burping their baby? My 7 month old hates it and screams the place down which makes me think he’s content with just drinking the whole bottle without being burped?

My little girl does the same! Babies are supposed to be able to bring their own wind up by about 4 months old they say they don’t need to be winded anymore, however saying that, babies can still suffer with trapped wind, my little girl lets out some manly burps on her own my god🤣🤣but sometimes I still give her burping after a bottle because she can still have trapped wind but she was severely colic as newborn so wind for her was harder to shift, sometimes I don’t bother it all depends how she is they say if a baby blows bubble after milk they’ve got trapped wind or arches their back, they need help to burp, if he doesn’t show any signs of wind I wouldn’t worry as at this age they say babies can bring up their own wind now! Xx
amazing reply thanks girly! I thought this was the case 💙xxx

That’s okay! If you ever think they need help always offer it because sometimes I’ll give my girl a bit of a winding and she’ll have a good burp so sometimes they do need help but if they do you’ll know!! Xx

Mine never burped! Spoke to the HV about it months ago. She was a bit of a burpless baby!

About 6 months I stopped burping baby xx
