My LO had his 16 week jabs this morning and since then doesn't want to feed? Happy to play and is sleeping at the moment but everytime I try to feed him he just cries and screams. Did anyone else find this? What do I do about the feeds?

I am a bit scared of this vaccination, how was your second 12 weeks? Did you give calpol for 12 weeks and 16 weeks? What the nurse said to do? Might be the jabs are hurting, our 2nd jab was crying a lot... I couldn't sleep the whole night
@Katia he was fine with both other jabs. Just this one he's very sleepy and hardly drinking anything :/ I gave calpol 15 minutes before his appt so it started to work beforehand. He doesn't want anymore calpol now however I try and give it

We are going 9 Dec for 16 weeks, my friend says please give calpol before you leave the house before the appmt. The first jab I gave calpol after 2 hours of this jab, she was sleeping, breastfeeding a bit, she was sleeping a lot though, so not sure why your son is not feeling like feed? Interesting to hear other mom's opinion. I wonder after how many days will he get over it? Please text me as I want to have it as smooth as possible for my daughter
@Katia everytime I put him near my boob he just screams

May be try to feed him while he is lying and you come with your boob on top? I found this too she was crying, I understood maybe her both legs where have was done was hurting, the muscle, as the nidlle would go quite deep in the muscle. Did you give him calpol again? Try to walk on you with him in the room, rocking on one shoulder, maybe it will get better? Just share his pain, he needs you as a mum to support him... I was not sleeping the whole night when it was 12 week jab, she was crying a lot, was unsettled... :(((((
I'm sitting with him whilst he sleeps and lots of cuddles. He won't let me feed him or take calpol. Just won't open his mouth

As for feed, give him some time, he will eventually, when the pain will go away... I guess, but offer from time to time anyway, keep try... To see if would take the boob

In not, just call 111 and ask for an advice
