Swimming
My baby is 5 months anyone who has started coughing the last few days and last night it kept us awake majority of the night, he has no other symptoms to make me suspect a cold or flu except the occasional sneeze. He has swimming today but I’m in two minds whether I should take him as he’s still coughing more than I feel comfortable. I’ve seen other posts about other babies randomly starting a cough so I wonder if it’s that…

if he has a cough i wouldn’t take him out. hopefully it’s nothing, but taking him out could kickstart a cold and possibly get other children sick as well. best to stay home in my opinion with lots of love and hugs.
The teachers at our pool (UK) say to still take them if they just have a cold, as long as they seem well enough in themselves.
Yeah my kiddo now 2 has a cough for the past couple of days. We had swimming yesterday and I decided to give it a miss and give her a chance to get better, not get other kids sick etc. Plus I didn't think she would enjoy it. She just has the cough currently and nothing else so figured it was best to stay away for a week.
Would do a cool mist humidifier to help him breath better my girl had a dry cough few wks back and it later ended up being post nasal drip even though she wasn’t stuffy sounding. Would keep him home and see if he gets better.
Thanks for the comments, I’m glad I didn’t take him as he’s suddenly become really stuffy and a little lethargic, think we have a cold setting in 😩
My newborn had this for a week, sounded terrible but still was eating.
