All gender restroom

Has anyone ever noticed that all-gender bathrooms take out diaper changing stations and purse hooks?? They’re supposed to be inclusive yet they take out anything that a woman may have used. Because of that I absolutely despise these bathrooms. I’ve noticed anytime people say something is inclusive it usually means it’s going to exclude women somehow. I just needed to vent about this because yet again I have to change my baby on the floor (I hav a pop up changing table in my diaper bag so she’s not directly in the floor) but it’s definitely disgusting that being inclusive to lgbtq usually means at women’s expense….

Meh a lot of the changing station restrooms are used for drugs anyways. I don’t like putting my child on them.

That’s weird, I feel like it’s an easy option to make the all gender bathroom the family bathroom. Every bathroom should have a changing table.

I haven't been out and about too much, I've only used one family bathroom which was at a church and it was great, but I'll definitely keep an eye out because that's not cool

@Bria I keep Lysol/clorox wipes and wipe the changing station down before using it, and I have a little pad I put down so even in those I never put my baby down directly

@Kaarin right like family bathrooms are always the ones I try to use but a lot of places now will only really have “all gender restrooms” and there have been a couple that do still have a diaper changing station but it’s rare

@Beatriz yeah it’s a lot of the newer places that have all gender rr or if they have renovated to make all gender ones. Family bathrooms are are the best
