I had a full term stillbirth in September. It felt like it took forever to get that first period, but started tracking my cycle one I got it in November. I had a positive ovulation test on Dec 4 & my period started today. I was hoping we could get pregnant first try but now I’m thrown off by my period starting so soon after the positive ovulation test. Anyone else had this happen? Should I be concerned?

"I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss; that must have been incredibly difficult for you. It's understandable to feel concerned about your cycle after such a significant event. A positive ovulation test indicates that your body was preparing to ovulate, but sometimes, cycles can be irregular, especially after a pregnancy loss. It's not uncommon for some women to experience shorter cycles or variations in their menstrual patterns during this time.
If your period started just a few days after the positive ovulation test, it could mean that ovulation occurred later than expected, or there may have been a brief luteal phase. Generally, a luteal phase of less than 10 days can be a concern for fertility, but it varies for each individual. Tr
