No. âFriends for a season friends for a day friends for lifeâ. People come in and out of our lives at different seasons and they donât all stay but they all have purpose. I have drifted off from many, but I have made many more in my mum season of life. Even then, some friends I donât chat to for months and when we do itâs like we never drifted off. Some I chat to daily or see every couple weeks for a year or 2 and it phases out. Some have helped me for only a day and theyâve served their purpose but not meant to be long term friends. We have seasons in life, and with our new seasons come new friends.

Your meaning of friendship and morals change as you get older, people drift apart but that doesn't mean that at that time in your life those friendships weren't real and what you needed. That's like saying you've never had any relationship or haven't got any ex's as they're in the past.
