Yes, however I prolapsed my bladder after the birth of my son which has caused the issue.
I would see a GP if you have pain/discomfort during sex, especially as you say the timing links with after childbirth x
Deffo go to GP, it could be cervical ectropian. It’s easily sorted if it is! X
Thanks everyone! We always use a lot of lube but will book in with the GP just for some peace of mind 😊 x
In my experience the GP has no idea and probably won't find anything wrong. Push to be referred to a gynecologist. It might take time but it was worth it for me in the end. Just as a recommendation. I would use oil based lube or baby oil. Works better for us than regular lube.
Hiya! I’ve been having the same problem since birth. When I had my smear the nurse told me that I’ve got an ectropian cervix whereas I didn’t have one before birth. Nothing to worry about and fairly common but it does cause pain during intimacy. Have you had a smear done since birth? Definitely get it checked with a GP though xx
I haven’t had a smear since birth but that’s a really good idea! I’ll start with a GP appointment and take it from there. Thanks all for your help 😊 xx
Are you having enough time for foreplay? And using lube? If so then speak to the gp as if it’s only started since you gave birth possibly something isn’t right. If not then I’d recommend starting with what I mentioned and see if it helps and if it doesnt then GP
