Yes I’ve done it but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I did it when I was 19-20 living in Wisconsin and visiting Washington all the time. It’s so sketchy and honestly not worth the risk.

i’ve taken gummies, put it in my checked bag and mixed them in with a bag of regular gummy candy

I didn’t do it put my friend did it when we were flying back from Las Vegas to San Francisco and she was fine but yeah that’s just one example 🤷🏻

Edited to add she mixed it in her checked luggage in her makeup with like eyeliner and mascara and what not to blend it in

I have. I put the battery in my carry on and I put the cart in a pants pocket in my checked bag. I’ll be honest with you, I worked at an airport for almost nine years. They aren’t looking for drugs, even the dogs they have walking around aren’t narcotic dogs, they are bomb dogs. And that’s what they are really on the lookout for, weapons and explosives. Don’t make it super obvious like having a pound of flower sitting in a suitcase. Carts and edibles are the easiest thing to go with.

I’ve flown with vape pens, flower, gummies, dabs, everything really. Like everyone else said, in my experience, no one really cares. I don’t imagine they would unless you were moving large amounts. As a former airport employee as well, chances are if someone found it they would just keep it for themselves 😅

With nicotine vapes as popular as they are the chances of getting caught with a marijuana vape are slim to none. Remember that airlines are a business and holding up passengers and using resources to test the contents of every vape is not very profitable.

Also, the first time I visited Colorado after legalization I had a 6 hour layover. I took the train to the city and may have gone a bit overboard at the dispensary 🤭 I was sooooo zooted when I was going through TSA when the agent told me to “have a nice flight” and I replied “you too!” CRINGE. They totally knew. Worth mentioning I was flying with a vape, gummies, and flower in my carry on. Not saying I would be that carefree about it now and I don’t even partake anymore since becoming a mother but I can’t tell you the amount of times I flew ‘dirty’ in the past without any trouble.

Don’t have trafficking amounts and you are good lol

Nah not your carry on. They could see it on the scanner when you go through security and give you a hard time bc you’ll be sitting with that bag on the plane. They won’t worry about it in your checked bag.

I have. More than once. Sometimes by accident lolol. I kept it in my carry on. If the cartridge is removable from the battery, separate them, turn off the battery, keep it near objects that look pen like or other vapes.

The dogs in the airport aren’t reliable even when they are “trained” to drug sniff, they have over a 70% failure rate with their alerts.

Why would you do it?

If you can't wait until you land and are out of the airport, there is a problem.

Where are you going? Because I had a vape nicotine pen in my carry on when I was going to South Korea for a new assignment and they pulled me to the side. Pulled it out to test what was in it.

So there could be some laws in place and potential extra screening that could potentially affect you.
