Nappy problems...

Does anyone else have issues with their babies pooing through? I love aldis nappies and I've moved onto pull ups as I find them much easier/better maybe I need to go up a size but I feel like I've only just done that 🫣 my baby poos about 3 or 4 times a day generally which also seems like a lot to me? He's just over 6 months old, formula fed and does enjoy his food and is weaning now. But pretty much everytime it comes out the sides and leaks through and I have to do a full outfit change! It's absolutely driving me insane the amount of clothes and washing I go through. Is this normal? Or do I try and go up a size in nappies again?

I did find this was happening to me in the Aldi nappies! They felt
Small round the waist but were baggy by his bum.

I’ve started using the Tesco premium nappies. Find there really good and have a good stretch xx

Sainsbury is better for cheaper option

Honestly I found the difference even just to touch when it came to the cheaper ones so we've always stuck to pampers. Never had a poo spillage and have only ever had a tiny bit of wee seep out the top when she's slept through the night. I know they work out more expensive but the pampers ones are the only ones we use because they really are just thicker and can withstand more imo. You could always buy the small cheaper pack to see how they work for you.
If you scan the inside you get tonnes of coupons with the points you earn in the pampers app too 😁

Just to add too, loads of people in my baby group doubled up on the nappies too for that extra thickness (using the cheaper ones).

I had the same issue! It all use to leak up her back and all her clothes were ruined everyday! So I had to bite the bullet and bought pampers but I have to admit they are amazing and you do get what you pay for with the quality!! I will never change back now but I have a Costco card and you can get a double pack for £8/£9 and they’re fantastic.. I don’t mind paying if thing are good and they are definitely worth it!

Thank you ladies, I really appreciate the advice!! They are so expensive for what they are and I kind of begrudge spending that much money on something he's going to poo on but I can't handle all the poo throughs and changes 3/4 times a day anymore! It's killing me haha, so I will definitely try the pampers. Thank you all xx

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
