on tiktok they've got 2 different ads going rn. One is advertising diapers for babies with "wide-y butts" and the other is advertising diapers for babies with "thinny butts" & yes, they are using baby models for both ads.

They know what they're doing, they've gotten tons of backlash, but they haven't stopped and I think there's probably a sick reason for that.

Just watched that YouTube ad to refresh my memory, there are 3 specific clips in that video that are very popular actions seen in diaper kink content. Yes, babies and toddlers are silly and are just being children but the way that it is filmed is 100% the same way you'd see it filmed in adult content (I used to be an online dominatrix so I'm unfortunately very familiar with some unusual kinks 😅)

I rewatched it because I just realized I missed another really icky detail.

As I mentioned before, the pony riding scene is already pretty sus, but I noticed that it's filmed from below, meaning that the viewer's POV is looking *up* at the baby riding the pony. That's an intentional angle they chose to film. Why not just film that scene straight on or from the side? Why is the viewer's POV below/underneath the child? It's very weird.

My opinion is that it's purposefully catering to the wrong audience. The people who create advertisements for big companies like this put a lot of thought into how they're filmed, how they'll be perceived, etc. It's their job. Even if it was a misjudgement on their part, where they didn't consider the potential inappropriate shots (doubtful IMO), they have had hundreds, maybe even thousands, of comments and emails informing them that their current advertisement style is creating easily accessible & popular content for the wrong audience. They were informed by so many people and they changed nothing, they continued making even more ads with this filming style. Because I do see your point, I just don't think that Huggies are actually innocent here.
