Can milk allergens be stronger in formula than in a dairy drinking mother's milk?
Wondering if our little guy has an allergy.. always had red dry skin patches (eczema?) but recently much worse! We just switched from breastmilk to formula.

Of course. Formula is made with cows milk.
so possible for a baby cows milk allergy to arise only after starting formula? Even if mom was eating lots of dairy
Are you using any lotions or soaps on baby?
These could also be causing the red patches.
When i used lotion on my baby she got rough leathery patches of skin.
Try oat based creams or nothing at all.
Once I stopped lotions and soapy bathwater the skin improved overnight
