My baby is in a really reeeeeally annoying phase where any food we give him he chews up and then spits out. He does the same with water too. We’re trying to give cows milk but he just bats the cup away. Trying to tell myself it’s just a phase but it’s really upsetting and annoying. I’m also worried about his hydration and nutrition too 🫠 he seems happy to just keep breastfeeding all day long but I really want to try and curb it to one or two feeds now. He was eating so so well before and was only having two breastfeeds a day 😭

Learn more about our guidelines.Mine did this on and off for about 2-3 weeks. Normally when he’s got a new tooth coming, he’s back to normal now. Just persevere and keep offering. Mine did better with spoon feeding around this time as I think his gums were too sore to tear food or chew rough textures.
Omg yeah it’s soooo annoying! My boy is on and off with the spitting (and whacking the spoon too), he’s definitely better now. Also just noticed you’re Bromley! Me toooooo x
@Sarah oh heyy ☺️ yeah he also won’t let the spoon come near him 🫠 I’m really hoping it’s a phase that ends soon! x
My little girl has just started this too! With any foods even her favourites! It falls into her bib and then the yucky thing is she’ll eat it again after 🫠xx
