Metanium discontinued, whats now best to use?

So its official that the yellow metanium is being discontinued. It worked wonders for my little ones nappy rashes. What is best to use now its gone? Id like to avoid bepanthem as it contains nut oils and most nurseries don’t allow it.

Sudocream? 🤔

I only knew about the yellow one recently and bought the Metanium barrier cream as a standby by a couple of months back and it also did the trick when applied on nappy rash rather than as a barrier treatment.

I didn't know that about bepanthen. It's my absolute favorite for results and I have put it in my LO's nursery bag (not anymore because they provide their own and my LO thankfully rarely gets rashes). We've been using sudocream lately when we need to because someone gave me a massive jar. It's also OK, I still prefer bepanthen, but it works fine for small rashes.

I use the metanium daily (white tube) and I feel it’s been great as a preventer for nappy rash. I hardly ever needed to use the yellow one. Sometimes I use sudocrem if that’s in reach!

Aquaphor, savlon, Sudosalve, weleda calendula nappy change cream, Vaseline, sudocrem

I am gutted about this as my little boy can occasionally get awful nappy rash and the yellow cream is the only thing that helps when it is bad, so I am one of those who desperately bought a few last tubes on EBay 😫 when bottom is okay, I have been using Weleda nappy change cream on a daily to day basis and it is good for protecting. Might also try the metanium daily one.
