Just wandered if anyone in this group has had any success with improving their partner’s sperm quality after being diagnosed with Male Factor issues, and if so what did you do?

Hi so my husband's sperm results came back beginning of November at 0% morphology after TTC for 15months. They said this can be improved with diet changes etc.. His diet was pretty healthy, but he did drink alcohol quite regularly and had hot baths. He was very upset with his results but then finally, this gave him the push to cut down his alcohol down and take supplements. He took proceive supplements, and to our shock, we got a positive pregnancy test on 24th December.
I'm adamant that taking the vitamins and cutting the alcohol out made a difference. We didn't once have a positive test result until then TTC our 2nd child. Funnily enough, when we conceived our 1st child, we weren't trying but my husband had done dry January and continued no drinking through February and then we conceived. I think diet can have a big impact on sperm, but if they are willing to change a few things and up the exercise, it will improve.

Supplements (vitamin and CoQ10) and cut way back on alcohol. Diet and exercise as well if there is significant room for improvement there.

Try not to be too disheartened if changes are made and it doesn't work. My partner done everything possibly, overall he is fit and healthy, but folloqed a regime and supplements for 3 months, the 2nd load of results were worse 🙄

Same with my hubby. In fact his sperm count dropped significantly whereas prior it was above average/healthy range and only motility was the main issue.
Now he's stopped taking Proceive as I feel that may have made it worse, and he only takes CoQ10, plus usual healthy eating, exercising etc.

My husband tested very low motility. We were told that maybe this can be improved with diet, losing weight and cutting out alcohol. It also takes about 3 months for sperm to fully cycle a man's body and new sperm is created. However, my man pretty much cut alcohol for more than 3 months and lost 60 lbs. However he still had the same sperm issues. So sometimes sperm issues can be deeper than diet. Blood tests would most likely be needed to determine further. Anyways.... he started taking CoQ10 on the recommendation of our fertility clinic and has been taking it maybe 1.5 months. His motility has more than doubled from 7% to 16%. Although that is still low, I imagine the motility numbers will only rise.
