Accidentally created chlorine gas and now have to air the whole house out. Typical me behaviour.

Hope you are all okay! ❤️

Tbh I’m surprised a lot more people havent done this accidentally as cleaning content creators are promoting more white vinegar methods.

Yep, bleach and vinegar will try to kill you. Just use one or the other xx

Is Milton a brand of bleach or something?

Bleach shouldn't be mixed with anything except water

I use Milton and water to Mop my floors. I thought I was being clever by adding vinegar into the mop to degrease where baby dropped her dinner on the floor. It went straight up my nose and I was like wtf is that.

So glad I googled it before using it. My intuition said hell no 🥲

Oh god! I have only recently learned this to be fair but yes don’t mix anything with any kind of bleach 😅😅😅😅 hope you’re ok?!

Avatar

I also use Milton to mop my floors! But yeah don’t mix it 😅

Avatar

it’s a baby safe bleach used for cleaning and sterilising but it is a type of bleach

Avatar

@Samantha idk if I'm OK but I'm gonna have to be. I've got shit to do tomorrow 🙂‍↕️

Is Milton bleach??

Avatar

yeah, it’s a diluted version of bleach that’s safe and easy for sterilising baby stuff and more delicate surfaces.

Avatar

Yes guys Milton is diluted bleach you can get the same ratios by adding 1TB of normal bleach to 4L of water to get the same ratios at Milton.

I wondered why Milton smelt similar to a swimming pool 🥴. Put me off from using it.. although I prefer to steam sterilise

Oh I love the smell of Milton! It smells so clean when I’ve used it on the floors 🥰
