@Ellie aw she doesn’t sleep right through till 730 last wake up usually about 5ish then I bring her in my bed cause she takes so long to let her be put in the crib x
Yes I aim on 9pm for him but the last two nights it's been like 11pm. Two hours of fussing, trying to get him to have more milk...into the basket...out of the basket... pacifier...spits it out...milk again ...so yeah 2 hours every evening trying to get him to sleep and no time for myself... Day naps are random. Tends to be a good one late morning/midday. Then after that it's anyones guess!
@Rebecca oh glad to know I’m not the only one, all I ever see is babies on sets schedules and naps 😂😂
SAME X
We do book and big bottle at 9:30-10 and then he messes around and fusses and cries for a couple of hours and properly falls asleep about 11ish and wakes up at 9. Naps are pretty random but I try and be mindful of wake windows. 4 months next week but he has only been doing this for a week or so before that he wouldn’t settle till 2am 🫣
Late for who? She's a baby. Sounds like you should let go of control and roll with the flow. I watch for my baby's sleep and hunger cues. otherwise, we play. Not all babies need a schedule.
My baby wakes up at roughly 8.15am ( when I wake him up to do the school run) then he will come back and feed... I try to do a nap between 10.30am and 11.30am but it's only ever 30 mins ish then I try again around 2ish (he often skips this and will then go off when on the school run cos 9 times out of 10 I walk) then he's awake till about 7pm. Then screams at me at about half 9 to go sleep he feeds and goes off between 10.00 and 10.30pm...... never really followed any sort of nap schedule really because I kind of think he sleeps solidly at night maybe he doesn't need so much during the day but it makes it awkward getting 20 mins out of him and that's it I just try and make them the same times even if they are not a lot and ive found they have to be contact naps most the time we were lucky to not really hit a 4 month regression so I'm wondering if it's biting us on the arse now or not who knows I'm kind of winging it
Bedtime will start to progress earlier naturally as the last wake window gets longer, and they start dropping naps. As long as they're still on 4-5 (average) naps a day, it will probably be later. Once we dropped to 3 naps, bedtime moved to around 7:30-8 and has been there ever since. I see people on here who say their babies go to bed at like 6:30, we could never. 😅 She wouldn't have it and it cuts into our dinner time!
I wish my girl could stretch that long anymore coz we used to br same but none she can’t name it to 7:30 without been beside herself n falling asleep anywhere on anyone it’ll come!
