Taking baby to aquarium?

I took mine to the museum (which had a few fish tanks he loved) just after he turned 5 months, and he loved it. I'm planning to take him to the aquarium soon (he's 6 months now)

You can take him now. It’s more for you than the baby obv but it’s a good day out regardless, get your steps in. I go because I get invited by others, I just tag along and go out for a mums day out…regardless what age baby is. They sleep most of the time at that age (well my baby did)
Is there another friend you can invite, w babies/kids that you like company of? Invite someone Xx

I took my 7 month old to the aquarium for the first time a few days ago and noticed a lot of kids sneezing and coughing

I think 2 months is fine I just took mine at 7 months and she loveddd it

I just saw something that was like “why would you take them there, they won’t remember it anyways”

I say go for it at any age! They’ll love it and they’re learning low key. My baby is 4mo and I was just thinking of taking him to the aquarium :)

@Ashlyn very true, actually until about 3 years old children's brains only make connections, and don't trim or cut unused ones, so the more they experience before age 3 the faster their brains can work.

He may not notice but you can take him 100%
He will most likely sleep through it but you'll enjoy it!

He might not see everything so i guess whenever you are confortable paying the fees to get in. I think mine was quite young when I took her, but a little bit older than yours.

I did when he was just shh of 4 months, and he loved looking up at all the lights x

I took my baby when he was 2months at the aquarium and it was the best idea !! : the lights in the aquarium makes them able to see the fish moving, and he was following the fishes ! He got even scared of a big fish he did big eyes and turn his head it was so funny !
I breastfed in the middle of the aquarium and then as the lights are quite low he was able to sleep and my hubby and I were even able to enjoy a coffee at the end peacefully
