Bedtime issues

Does anyone else’s little one not go down for bed for hours? I try to get baby down from about 9pm after a lot of evening cluster feeding and it takes till gone 11pm and many failed attempts to actually get him into his crib. He feeds to sleep and keeps seeming to be done but I put him down and he’s awake again! Any advice? I don’t understand how you manage to get them to self settle when breastfeeding?

Have you offered pacifier?

Stick to a bedtime routine/bath massage nursing dont lose the routine

Yes I have same issue with breastfeeding. They use it to sleep. But sometimes have the boob, but can't sleep..... which means more feeding 🥱 😫 my little one don't like a dummy. So it's my boob or nothing. Not sure how to change the cycle

Are you following age appropriate wake windows? Have you tried feeding until drowsy and setting down in crib and then settling? Like Rolling on side, butt pats, singing, etc

Unfortunately little one doesn’t take a dummy I have tried multiple different brands now! And in terms of wake windows and setting down drowsy it’s hard to do because he just cries for more boob so I don’t know how to manage to do that?

Same situation 😩

How old is baby?

Need to make sure there is a long enough gap between his last nap of the day and when you put him down for bed. Mine is 4 months and needs 2.5 hours minimum before bed (but he is quite a low sleep needs baby) so just work out how long you need / look it up online. If he's really tired enough he should go down much more easily. Also look at how much sleep he's having during the day, maybe too much?
