Breastfeeding and marijuana
Do any of you breastfeed? I am going to a place where marijuana is legal over the weekend. I’ll be pumping and dumping until Sunday night. How long do you have to wait until it’s safe for your baby?

I don’t wait. I just pump whenever. Sometimes I pump while smoking. My son has never been affected by it.
Instead of dumping if I need to I’ll pour it and use it for my son’s bath.

Save it and use it for nath time. And I would pump at least wait 24/hours
I’m not going to save any. It’s too much of a hassle to bring it home.
I smoke and breastfeed and pump. I smoke right after a feeding or pump and then make sure I stay hydrated and eat. After smoking, I wait 4 hours to pump. I haven’t seen any effect on my baby. He’s a super happy and growing perfectly for being a preemie!
