Split Nights

Looking for some advice with split nights Our 5 month old keeps waking at 5am for anything up to an hour. Not crying, just sitting in her crib. I pop her dummy in and she'll start drifting back off but then wake back up again, I usually have to do this every 20 mins or so then eventually she'll drop off until around 7-7:30 am. When she's wakes for the day she still isn't crying and is pretty chilled before I feed her a bottle so I don't think it's hunger. I'm not sure if she's maxing out on sleep as it's around the 10 hour point after going down for the night, but she obviously needs more sleep as she'll go back down afterwards for an hour or so 🤷‍♀️ I'm not sure if the nap situation is causing this either. We're still on 4x 30 minute naps a day which means we can't push to a later bedtime. Wake windows are approx 2 hours so when we wake up between 7 and half past, she's desperate to be asleep by 7pm. She's getting about 9-10 hours of awake time during the day Is this something she's likely to grow out of, or do we need to wait for naps to lengthen?

We're in the same boat, the nap situation is so frustrating

I could have written this post! My boy wakes between 5-5:30. Has a change and feed but is usually wide awake or yawning but refuses to go back to sleep. However after 1-1-5hrs he wants to sleep again for anything up to 1hr 🙈😆 I’m confused with the nap situation because of this. He did the exact same this morning and I don’t know whether to count that as a day nap or still his night sleep… wake windows are also 2hrs and he has 4x30 mins naps as well. So following this post! X

Glad to know I'm not the only one, really not sure how best to go forward!
