My lo wakes the same time and i always give him a bottle as by the time me and my 4yo get up and ready for his school its around 7:30-8 and then we all have breakfast together so gives lo time for him to be hungry again after his bottle. We dont do naptime bottle anymore as i dropped that for same reason, didnt want him having too much milk and then we do bedtime. Could you try dropping the nap time one instead? Although if your lo doesnt do well with dropping i honestly dont see a reason why they cant have 3 bottles i mean it wont harm them, or you could try halving the amount you give for morning and naptime that way its the same amount he’ll drink?
I dont think there is too much milk!! Well coming from a family that devours over 6pints a day!! Haha 17yr old drinks nothing but milk! 🤣🙈🙈 If your concerned could you maybe just reduce the amount they are having with each bottle? My son gets up between 5/5.30 so he has a bottle of milk then and then breakfast around 8am. But he doesn't have any other milk in the day anymore, he's refused all except the morning one, which for a milk loving family is different haha!!
It depends on what time we get up & if its a work day. When my daughter goes to nursery, she could be eating her breakfast around 6am. On a weekend, it could be anywhere between 6 - 9am just depending on what time she wakes up. My daughter usually has ready brek with honey or fruit in it. This morning she had; - A whole small banana - 5oz of milk - Ready brek with Honey - Blueberries & she was still wanting to pinch some of my toast🙄 Its better to have a bigger meal at the beginning of the day, as it starts up the matabilism. Every health/fitness professional will tell you that😅 Please stop fretting.
We’re still on 3 drinks of milk a day (one first thing, one before afternoon nap, one before bed). My LB wakes from anywhere between 6:30-8am, he will have milk as soon as he wakes and then either have breakfast at nursery (9am) or at home on a weekend I offer breakfast an hour after he’s had milk. To add - I was worried about his milk intake but he’s very active and absolute fine in terms of his percentiles so we’re just carrying on as we are for now! X
Thank you every one! I think I’m just over thinking it when I see toddlers his age not drinking much milk 🙈 he didn’t actually have his milk at nap time yesterday and then I sort of realised every day is different in terms of some days he wants milk at nap time and some times he doesn’t so maybe some days he just needs a little extra comfort 🤭 Thank you every one! Xx
My little girl has breakfast between 7:30-8:30 depending on when she wakes up. She can wake up just before 6-7:30. Then we have ‘boobies in bed’ where she comes into my bed for 15/20 minutes to have a snuggle and breastfed. Then go downstairs and play a bit (I get a coffee). I drink my coffee while I give her breakfast then. My little girl has the same amount of milk really as yours. She had a bottle of cows milk for her nap and at bedtime. Do breakfast when it works for you and your little one x
