He'll take short naps in the pram but if we want anything longer than 45 minutes have to contact nap. I'm not worrying about him transitioning to crib naps, just enjoying the cuddles!
Baby would mostly contact nap (occasional went in the Moses basket or next to me) but we transitioned to from the bassinet to the proper park seat and now baby will do naps in the orange, after a walk - will happily sleep for up to 2 hours with white noise and a rocket. We swapped at 4.5 months and it was a game changer.
My LO is 4.5 months old and this week has gone from contact napping only to now fully self settling for her naps, but will only self settle if I treat nap time the very similar to bed time, so noise machine and sleep bag and she now goes down wide awake and sends herself to sleep! I found that when I started putting her in her big cot in her own room for naps that she much preferred that to her next to me cot or pram, I keep the room light though so she can distinguish from day and night still.
Honestly all over the place 😂 she’s 5 months and before Christmas I got her sleeping on her crib for naps and now she’ll hardly sleep or will wake the second she’s put down. Mostly in the pram, car seat or carrier and everything now and again in her crib
