Yes, change first, then feed, then back to bed.
using coterie diapers for more than a month now for night. It easily lasts for 6 hours. Haven't seen any diaper rash.

I change her at every feed so she does from 9pm to 4am in the same diaper. If I would wake until 7am when she wakes up for the day the diaper would have leaked because smaller sized diapers aren’t meant to go 12 hours without a change
Diapers are now designed to hold more liquid than ever before and stay dry. Depends on what brand you are using. Millie moon and swaddlers work for my girl overnight. If she poops, of course I change her, but I’m not waking her for a pee diaper.
