For those who help baby to sleep

Do you wonder how your baby will just start napping at nursery? I just can't see her lying down and falling asleep.

I think nursery practitioners would be really used to this and would help as much as possible. My friends little girl has just started, she didn’t nap at all for the first few days but then once settled they managed to get her to nap

I had this same thought the other day 🙈

They are miracle workers! They'll pat, shush, hold your baby to help them sleep. My 2yo who has been independently falling asleep for well over a year makes his key worker cuddle him to sleep but they're happy to do it.

I had this concern with my first - she was always feed to sleep and contact nap. When they told me she was sleeping independently on a mat I didn’t believe them 🤣 It took a couple of weeks but seeing the other little ones sleeping helped and the nursery staff had lots of tricks to try

My baby goes to nursery on a morning and goes down for a nap there fine. When she’s home she will only contact nap with me
