Transition to sleeping bag

My LO has begun rolling so we need to move to a sleeping bag. This might sound like a silly question but do I put my baby to sleep and then put him into the sleeping bag? He's not falling asleep by himself yet so we either rock him or he falls asleep in the bouncer and then we put him in the crib. Thank you

You’d probably wake him up trying to get him into the sleeping bag so I always put mine on my LG before she’s asleep x

I usually put mine in the sleeping bag first so I don’t wake him up. However if he’s in a really deep sleep I can transfer him into the sleeping bag and then cot without him waking

Thank you, that's what I was thinking that he'd end up waking up by the time I put the sleeping bag on and put him in the cot. Will try putting him in the sleeping first and then put him to sleep x

You can also get sleeping bags with legs if he often falls asleep in the bouncer, then just shift him into his bed once asleep.

Hey, I pop them in a sleeping bag first, but if he’s not falling asleep in your arms, pop him in there after x
