EBF and regular night wakes

My LG is 5 and a half months and is asking every 1.5-2 hours at night for a feed sometimes these are really short and for comfort, others are longer - it doesn’t seem to matter how much she has during the day. She won’t be settled by my partner rocking her and just cries until she is fed. It’s leaving me feeling so touched out, not to mention exhausted. Any tips for how to get longer stretches (she used to sleep 6 hours before the regression) or how to not feel so touched out? Thank you! ❤️

Ours was the same and then she grew out of it - from memory it was around six month mark.

I feel like I'm at my worst age yet. He's about to be 1 and his stretches are consistently 1.5 hours. They were 2 hours as a newborn, and I've had the odd 4 hour but not much. He just needs to know my boob is there in his mouth and he will sleep. It's natural for babies but tiring on us. Boy elephants let the baby suckle for comfort, but human men aren't kind and understanding like that hahah

Nearly 15 month old and the same some nights. Other nights he’ll go longer stretches x

Same exact pattern here except ours was sleeping 7-8 hours before, and then started doing hourly (sometimes even more frequent) wakes. She hasn’t grown out of it at 12 months old now.

A few things that help with not being so touched out - sleep in a separate room when you go to bed and keep baby monitor on - if baby is having a hard time transitioning to deep sleep (usually morning hours), I call my husband over to rock her after I nurse her - ask husband for a small massage when you’re feeding baby back to sleep
