Hey! I feel you sista! Have you tried wearing a muslin and leaving it in the cot, or an item , I leave the pillow I’ve slept with in it all day aswell? Try white noise machine right next there, when you pass her into the cot, have you tried hugging her and holding her for a few minutes after she’s laid down , things like that? Sometimes it takes me 4/5 attempts b don’t give up, xxx
@Lucy I have not tried wearing a muslin, I think I may try it out. She’s listened to rain sounds for sleep since she was born and it usually works, think sleep regression is just changing that. I have tried hugging and holding her before passing her into cot and even while laying her down. She either wakes up instantly or 5-10 mins after being in bassinet
I feel you! She just needs to be close to her momma! Regressions are tough!! I’ve found myself lay over the cot holding my babe for ages just until I think he’s asleep enough for me to move! Keep going 🫶🏼🫶🏼
@Lucy thank you ❤️
The 4 month sleep regression is awful. We went from a baby sleeping in her bassinet and waking maybe 4 times a night 1-2 to eat and the others was easily settled to a baby who also would wake instantly when placed in her bassinet. We worked on napping in her own space and then worked on getting her back down in her own space. It was hard and we did end up co-sleeping a few nights as hubby and I were just to tired. But things are starting to get better
