Following because we have the same issue and end up bringing her on to our bed and lying with her until she fall asleep and transferring
Also having this issue! I've tried leaving baby to sit down himself but he doesn't know how to yet so he just screams the house down which we can only handle for so long during the night! We're trying to show him how to sit down during the day and hoping he figures it out soon 😬
Hubby did lots of daytime practice with sitting down from standing with our LO. Took a week or so for it to get better for us
We had this and pretty much for 4 weeks, we had to play stand up lie down with my son and was awake for nearly 2 hours every night. He seems to in the last 2 weeks now got bored of it and only really stands up if he’s ready to get up. (Thank god) it’s defo been the hardness new skill for us in terms of causing major sleep issues!
We had this initially when LO learnt to pull up to stand. We find if we get the timing right, he doesn’t do it as much. Also I would try and leave him as long as you can bear before going in and laying down - our LO will eventually sit down and lie down when tired enough. Try lengthening the wake window before the nap by 15-30 mins
