Not waking for feed!

Just woke up with serious mum guilt. My little one just slept for 7 hours without waking for a feed ( she’s 17 days old and way past birth weight ). Should I be waking her for feeds? I’ve just been letting her wake me up to be honest this is the first night she hasn’t

No, once reached birth weight and unless told to keep waking for extra weight then let her sleep 😀 enjoy it when it happens.

I was about to post the same thing but mine is 29 days old I just feel bad because she has been fussing for most of the night

Oh my don’t feel bad. Enjoy!!! X

@Aleisha if she was hungry hungry she would've woken up and cried properly 😊 you're absolutely fine

Definitely enjoy it..I've had two occasions where my baby when 5 hours and I was also quite worried about it but she woke and fed after that and was perfectly fine. The only issue I have is it leaves my breasts really full going so long between feeds. Did get a very good pump session out this morning though 🤣.

@Adele I know she would because I don’t wake her to feed I let her tell me but I think she’s making up for not really sleeping the past 2 days

I just experienced this last night he is 1month old and slept almost 7 hours x
