Right before nap time have a full belly a bottle and then try sleep training. I'm weaning my son off his daily naps because he doesn't need it. But he only sleeps two hours during the day which I pray for 10am to 12pm (lunch)
No advice just wanted you know youāre not alone. Mt son (17 months) has been going to bed at 8:30/9 wakes up 11:30/12, 2/3, and wide awake 4-6am It just started a week ago and we have no clue whatās going on. We coslept and heās been in his big boy bed for a few months now. And honestly doesnāt make a difference if heās in our bed or his itās still the sameā¦. Hang in there mama! It canāt last forever⦠right???
@Tessa definitely canāt last forever š
Quick update: I just started waking up super early with him, and letting him take his nap around ten am until 12 . Then keep him up until bedtime around 8:30/9 and itās only been a few days BUT I have been getting more sleep at night and he stays asleep until around 6:30am now. If I donāt stay up on TikTok I feel well rested. A win is a win , thank you ladies
Yahhhh! Iām glad thatās working for you!!! Maybe slowly push the nap back in the morning! 12-8pm awake may start getting a cranky baby and earlier bedtime! But Iām glad itās working so far!!

I would try wearing him out in the morning and moving his nap up. My son wakes up about 8-9am and naps by 12:30 because he gets so tired and cranky by noon. Iād try that for a week and if it doesnāt happen skip his nap for a week. Iāve heard it takes a bit of time and you have to do it consecutively. Iād also maybe try his own sleeping space. I still rock my son for 5-20 mins before laying him down but he also gets MUCH better sleep in his crib than he did when we bed shared. He actually took to it pretty well, I donāt do the cry it out method either. I was terrified of putting him in his crib thought it would be a nightmare but it was the best thing for him. I hope something works. Hang in there ā¤ļø
