Positive Ovulation days after miscarriage?

I took an ovulation test and its positive, I began miscarrying on 5th Jan and officially passed on 13th. Im now 4 days post miscarriage and have a positive ovulation test?? Is this because my hormones are still all over the place? Im not sure what to do, like? Surely it cant be that quick? I was told it could take 2 weeks for my body to properly ovulate again? Does my miscarriage start from the day I started bleeding or the day I passed things? Totally lost on what to do & when to try again…

my thoughts exactly? Like, is it too savage to just try again and see what happens? But I also have an appointment at the hospital on Sunday to talk about fertility tests etc as this is my 3rd miscarriage. Such a hard decision to make… but I also just want to follow my heart

Okay I can explain!! LH hormone is very similar to HCG. Your HCG levels are still high and are declining but still there. The OTC LH tests are not smart enough to know the difference so it come up as positive. To know if you’re actually ovulating, take a pregnancy test and an ovulation test. If pregnant test is negative and ovulation is positive then you’re ovulating! If you get both positive though, you have remaining HCG in your system. Don’t start trying again until after you have had a negative pregnancy test

The reason you can’t start trying until you get a negative pregnancy test is because it could indicate there are RPC in the uterus. (Retained products of conception) this happened to me from my miscarriage in November. I had to have a D&C in December and was starting to have an infection. I was bleeding for a whole month and then began to have foul smelling discharge. Now I finally have a negative pregnancy test and I can try again!

Have you had a negative pregnancy test yet? LH strips can often confuse HCG for LH and throw off false positives

I don’t think you can ovulate till earliest 2 weeks after but may be wrong! Defo take a pregnancy test first as it could be HCG levels tricking the test!
I ovulated 3 weeks after my mc and got pregnant straight away so it can happen quickly but wouldn’t imagine within the first week xx

If the ovulation tests have been negative then turned positive I'd assume it's right. I also thought day 1 of miscarriage is the day you bleed first or anything is coming away or find out and something is happening etc. I agree with take a pregnancy test first

I think also your advised to wait a little while to let your body recover and reduce the risk of infection. Although it is technically up to you and when ever you feel ready. Hope all goes well for you x

I had a d&c yesterday and the doctors told me to make sure I have a negative pregnancy test in 3 weeks time. But I think with any kind of miscarriage you can still be positive as you may not have passed everything. 100% your choice and your journey but I would do a test and I would maybe wait until your next ovulation before trying x

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.

Caffeine addiction suuucks. (Coffee)

I'm off of literally everything. Don't smoke, no medicine, don't drink except VERY rare occasion, nothing. I drink a large coffee everyday (usually mcdonalds or 7 brew)... or a couple cups of coffee at home if I don't get out. Today I had neither and I was OUT FOR THE COUNT. Awful headache, no motivation, throwing up. Then I drink coffee and it's instantly better. 🙃 coffee is one hell of a drug I tell ya.

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
