Calpol and nurofen

If the doctor has said you can give both at the same time. Then yes, do that.

My 8 month old had the flu just before Christmas and while at the hospital they gave her ibuprofen and paracetamol at the same time. And she was fine,

However, once I got her home. I alternated between the two.

I gave her calpol during the day every 4 hours and then I would give her nurofen at night because it lasts longer, so I knew it would help her sleep through the night as long as possible without her being in any pain/discomfort.
