I need someone to relate or guidance

Hiii ! I have a 15 month old who is still bf through the night and we co sleep. He used to sleep 3 hour stretches through the night, wake up, nurse, back to sleep. Around 4 months ago maybe ? he started waking up every hour-hour and a half. He is hysterical every time and nothing can comfort him beside boob. I feel so bad and I don’t know if there is something deeper or it is actually a phase ? Talked to pedi and all she said was to stop breastfeeding 👍🫠 wonderful I know. That will not be happening Thank you !!

Do I understand correctly that your 15 month old is only on breastmilk? You haven't introduced foods?

No he eats meals I meant he won’t drink milk from a cup or anything

No advice, but same age baby and still bf and also co sleep so exact same position😅xx

It's most likely tied to development or some kind of change. I'm still feeding my 31mo, and he goes through super clingy phases every so often.

https://www.heyshayla.com/night-weaning-a-toddler/ I’m currently night weaning. It’s a process. Do some research and find a method that works for you and your baby. My goal was for my daughter to learn to sleep independently- w/o the boob. I definitely didn’t do it in 2 days like this video. I’m on day 5. But she’s learning

@Sophie praying for you guys 😭

@Kristin thank you ! That is my goal too. I don’t want him to stop completely but night time is getting hard for me. I wake up with migraines and so tired and I can tell baby’s gets deregulated from it

@Sophie does baby seem fine in the morning ?

Yes, my daughter is 20 months and it got to a point where she wouldn’t leave the boob at night. I would take her off and she would wake up crying for it. It was too much lol. Now she’s learning that she CAN go back to sleep on her own. It’s a lesson she doesn’t want to learn 😂 but a lesson that’s important for her to know…

@Kristin yess he does that sometimes and I get so overstimulated every time I get the strength to start night weening he gets sick and I feel bad

@Kirsten do you feed baby to sleep? My 15 month old was waking every 1-1.5 hours 💀 so I stopped feeding him to sleep and started rocking instead, I love co-sleeping so we continue that and breastfeeding through the night, but he now sleeps 5-8 hours before waking! And he’s slept through once so far. We’ve been doing it for about just over a month x
