Waking in the night

My 16 month old still wakes up during the night but he wants milk so I'm trying to get him out of that habit. X
Ours has just been doing this again. He does it when he's on the cusp of a big milestone. We just have to ride it out until he's through it!
@Heather he's on one nap and has been for a while because of how badly he sleeps

Incog could well be! Ours has just started walking and it seemed to be linked to that. It’s awful though, so tough to get through!
Of course he is waking up he gets to go down stairs and watch telly 😂👍I’d stop that and stand your ground for a few nights I have 16 month old twins they wake in the night but I would never entertain it by all means go in and comfort if crying( proper crying) but no talking no eye contact just shhh and lie them down and walk out it’s a few nights and they learn I have two older ones at school also so no how hard it is if they cry but the more u entertain it the longer and harder it gets good luck mama
@Amy yeah that doesn't work. I've spent up to 3hrs with him comforting him, walking away, going back and I've stood my ground it doesn't work. Some night I lay on his floor with my hand in his cot which helps but more often that not he's wide awake and no5hing works
Is he on one or two naps a day. X
