Breastfeeding

Anyone’s little one not feeding on the breast as much in the day then really going for it at night? Like 5 mins if that in the day! Then at night a full on 30 minute feed!😅 feel like she’s filling up in the night resulting in her waking more! And then when she does feed in the day is throwing it all back up 🤦🏼‍♀️ worried she’s not getting enough! Anyone else?

Yep 🤷🏼‍♀️ . Can’t offer any advice but having the same issue.

Yes I think it’s linked to their development at 3-4 months old, as they get more aware of their surroundings and get distracted. I’m only managing to get him to do a decent feed when he’s drowsy at the moment. Not sure about the throwing up though, I would maybe ask your gp or health visitor about that if it is a new thing.

I tried a breastfeeding cover and it stops them being as distracted, they’re breathable to they’re okay under there.. it’s helped me get my boy to feed for longer with less distraction, it eats into his wake window more so I have less time for developmental things before he goes to sleep again but he has to be fed so I’m still finding the balance of doing both
